Hillos Mexican Toaster Pastry, Piloncillo, 3ct
Hillos Mexican Toaster Pastry, Piloncillo, 3ct
The original. Unrefined cane sugar, pressed into those iconic dark cones you've seen in every Mexican kitchen, is the filling our coyotas were built on back in Sonora. Smoky, molasses-deep, warmer than brown sugar by miles. This is where we started. It still tastes most like home.

Let customers speak for us
from 72 reviewsLe lleve una caja de dulce de leche a mi abuela y no dejaba de hablar de ellos. Le alegro la semana.
Not Mexican myself, I'm from El Salvador, but the guava flavor still felt familiar and my whole family loved it.
Meant to save some for later, opened the dulce de leche box just to taste one, and it was empty within the hour.
I wish I grew up on.
I have never had guava, this was a very unique experience.
I’m new to coyotas and oh man was the dulce de leche is amazing.
The warm piloncillo was amazing when you toasted. Must try!
I tried something similar when I was in Mexico and honestly these guava ones are just as good, maybe better. Impressive for something made here.
I ordered several packs of coyotas online because I really, really wanted coyotas, but my mom hasn't brought any back from Mexico in quite a while. When I say that these coyotas are simply perfect, I mean it. The pastry is not oily and the filling is not overly sweet. I was upset at first that I paid this much for mere pastries, bit the quality and deliciousness definitely makes up for my empty wallet. I would definitely purchase coyotas from here again. I had the dulce de leche and fig flavors and they were equally good! Also, they came perfectly packed with minimal damage to the pastries after shipping over halfway across the country.
Soy de Guatemala y no sabia que esperar, pero mi familia y yo quedamos encantados con el sabor a dulce de leche. Sabores latinos bien logrados.
I toast one of these with my coffee at my desk every morning now. The guava flavor is the perfect match for that first cup.
Definitely bringing more next time.
Great start of my day and ready to go.
